Shizuku – The Droplet Vase

Delicate as morning dew, Shizuku (雫) takes its name from the Japanese word for “droplet.” Handcrafted by skilled artisans, each vase captures the gentle curve and stillness of a single falling drop.

Blown from fine glass, no two pieces are exactly alike — each bearing subtle ripples, soft curves, and the quiet elegance that only handmade work can achieve. Its translucent form plays with light, casting reflections that shift throughout the day, much like a droplet dancing in the sun.

Perfect as a minimalist centerpiece or to cradle a single bloom, Shizuku brings a sense of calm and purity to any space. A celebration of simplicity, fragility, and beauty — all in one suspended moment.

Designed and prototyped in 2025.

shaped by hand

Shaped naturally like a falling droplet, Shizuku captures the quiet beauty of water in motion. Each piece is hand-blown, making every curve organic and unique — a gentle blend of nature and craftsmanship.

WIll of Glass

The form of Shizuku isn’t forced — it emerges. As molten glass cools and settles, it naturally leans into the soft teardrop shape, as if returning to its most balanced, effortless state. This vase honors that instinct, letting the material become what it wants to be: pure, simple, and serene.
